I am a fourth of the way through Whole30! So far this program has not been as hard as I thought it would be. I have not had major cravings (other than for my scale) and have enjoyed each of the meals we have made this week. I am proud that we have tried a new meal each night since starting this program. It is a bonus that all of them have been tasty. I know it is early, but I am thinking this is a good sign for the days to come.
Today, I had to work :( I am kind of at the point where I am over this job. I am just waiting for something better to come along, but it is Guam and I am worried that will not happen. Part of me really just wants to quit, but the other part knows I will be bored out of my mind with nothing to do. I am just not cut out for dealing with retail work!
Luckily, I came home to Dave and Linda. They had a great day at the beach (while I was at work). I fixed up some mashed cauliflower with roasted garlic and some roasted brussel sprouts while Dave grilled the chicken. Dinner was delicious yet again! Now we are relaxing and watching some Duck Dynasty.
Grilled Chicken Breasts

we used boneless, skinless breasts for this recipe. We were making the glaze, but it wasn't ready when everything else was done so we just forgot it. We used the grilled citrus fruit instead. In reality, the chicken was juicy enough it really didn't need anything. This is another dish we will be adding to our dinner rotation.
