Cheesy I know, but I am in a good mood tonight. I had a long day at work but it is was super productive! There are three different locations for the dive shop that I work for. I was at the Marina location today, which usually means that I am pretty bored. However, we now have a new manager at this location and another one (both located on the Naval base). She is allowing me to rearrange the Marina store and I have been working on it for the past three shifts. It has kept me busy and made the days go by quickly. I am pretty proud of how I have turned the store into a much more organized and clean store. At the end of the day, however, I was super tired.
This morning, I thought that I was going to hit the gym after work, but I felt I did enough moving around at work to warrant the evening off. I will be going to the gym tomorrow morning though. I took a class on tuesday that kicked my ass so I will be going back for more tomorrow. My personal trainer comes back on island this weekend so we will be working out with her on tuesdays and thursdays instead of taking this class.
I know that I am only 4 days into this program, but I am not having any issues with food. I had left over dinner, with extra eggs added, for both breakfast and lunch. I added some peach slices to my lunch. For dinner, Dave made a sirloin, sweet potato fries, and asparagus. DELICIOUS! I have been really good about eating at the table away from distractions. Today at work, I ate while I was working so I wouldnt have to wait two more hours to eat at home. I know it was not ideal but it was the better of my two options. Dave has been a good sport about now eating at the table with the tv off. It is a big change from the normal eating in front of the tv routine. I didnt realize how much I would like the time we spend together at dinner. It is nice to reconnect after a day apart, especially on the days when he is not out to sea. I really enjoy the conversations that we have and I really do feel it is helping up grow closer together (not that there is a problem in our relationship). I wanted to take a picture of our dinner tonight, but it was so good it started to disappear before the photos could be taken. One of these days, I will get some pictures taken.
YAY! you are doing great. yes please post some recipes for me :) thank you! I also took pictures of myself in my workout shorts and sports bra. I def could see a difference in my pics. In case the scale was not my friend at the end.
ReplyDeleteI added some recipes into the Day 5 post for you. Thanks for reading my blog! I should have taken pictures but I dont really want to see myself half-dressed right now ;) My trainer took some measurements about two weeks before I started this program and I am going to have her measure me after the 30 days so I will have some idea of my progress.
